The meeting to accept the resignation of José Joaquín Moya as mayor will take place at 1pm on Thursday. A letter from the Subdelegation received yesterday clarified the situation, correcting the mistake that Encarna Llinares had made on Friday when he suggested that, to keep within the law, the meeting would have to be convened yesterday.
The meeting to appoint the new mayor will be on the 24th or 25th of this month. From the socialist group there are two candidates, Inmaculada Martínez and Raúl Valero.
They have very different views on the policies of the party so it will be interesting to see who is chosen.

Well, I know nothing about their politics but they're both prettier than any of our Councillors!
