Crime is down 14% in the Valencian region according to figures released by Antonio Moreno the chief of police in the region.
Newly appointed to the role he went on to say that his priorities remained the fight against organised crime which he said was a complex matter and reducing domestic burglaries and acts of vandalism.
Let's hope he is successful.
