Last night's concert for Santa Cecilia

THE PROGRAMME

2. "SONATA FOR TRUMPET AND ORCHESTRA" by Henry Purcell

(adaptation for a band by Antonio Rodriguez Pérez [first performance])

Soloist: Antonio Rodriguez Pérez (trumpet)

3. "SINATRA IN CONCERT" arrangement by-. Jerry Nowak

Soloist: Florencio Sáez (Bigasto born pianist)

he also played Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini's "Moon River" as an encore.

4. B.S.O.: "PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN" by: Klaus Badelt

5. B.S.O.: "JOHN WILLIAMS IN CONCERT" arrangement by: Paul Lavender

including theme tunes from the films Jaws, ET, Star Wars etc.

PASODOBLE: "DOÑA LOLA" by: Francisco Grau Vegara

The concert was absolutely brilliant. The soloists were exceptional and the audience were delighted with it all.
